What to Expect

Stonewall Garden is a one-person practice. In a consultation, you work directly with me, Tim — the same person who reads your site and chooses the plants. Many people have a consultation on its own, simply to understand their yard and decide where to start. Others go on to a full design, which is quoted separately.

One small thing — I usually record our walkthrough on a small mic so I can stay focused on the conversation instead of taking notes. I'll always confirm before hitting record, and the audio is just for my own reference afterward, never shared.

Submitting this form adds your request to a queue for 2027. It doesn't schedule a visit or hold a time, and it doesn't guarantee one. I can't say yet when in 2027 I'll start taking new consultations, and I may not reach everyone who asks. If I'm able to offer you a visit, I'll email you.

No larger project required. Many clients book a consultation, take the written site analysis, and run with it themselves.

Because of severe allergies, I may not be able to enter areas where these plants are present, which can limit what I can walk and measure there. Telling me up front helps me prepare.

  1. 1 Your request goes into my 2027 queue with everything you've entered, so there's nothing else to fill out.
  2. 2 I can't say when in 2027 I'll start taking new consultations, and being in the queue doesn't guarantee a visit.
  3. 3 Nothing is due now. A consultation fee is invoiced only if a visit is arranged.
  4. 4 If a visit is arranged, we walk your yard together — I'll record notes on a small mic, with your permission, so I can stay focused on the conversation.
  5. 5 After a visit, I send your written Ecological Site Analysis with clear next steps — whether you're planting it yourself or considering a design.
